  1. Management of Maize Lethal Necrotic Disease (MLND) in Tanzania. Mikocheni Agricultural Research Institute (MARI)-Tanzania –2015 to 2017; funded by USAID/ iAGRI to MARI (USD 740,000). Post- doctoral Research Fellow.
  2. Microbial and Aflatoxin quality evaluation in marketed spices and herbs in Tanzania –Jan 2016 to 2018 self-funded (ca USD1,000)– Principal Investigator.
  3. Marker assisted selection of useful cassava germplasm adapted to biotic and abiotic stresses caused by global climate change 2016-2019; funded by EC through FAO (USD 467,134). Research Scientist/Assistant PI.
  4. Enhancing Productivity of Taro and Yams in the Coastal Low lands of Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar through Micro-propagation Techniques-2015-2018; funded by COSTECH (ca USD50,000). Principal Investigator
